NurseLine

24-hour triage and symptom support. 13 years and counting.

Rocky Mountain Poison and Drug Center (RMPDC) launched its NurseLine services in 1997 to provide medical triage services 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Since that time, the Nurse Line has expanded to include telephone triage and health care information to public and private clients on how to manage illnesses and injuries that occur at home or on the job. See out Rest Assured Program.

We’ve got telenursing down to a science. Our nurseline is staffed with experienced registered nurses trained in telenursing and uses nationally accepted pediatric and adult management algorithms to manage calls. Recommendations are then made to the patient for potential home health care, or referral to the appropriate medical facility. We leverage our call center expertise to track, trend and report call data through a nationally-accepted call center platform. You’ll know who is calling, why they’re calling, and what we did to help them.

The center provides triage support to:

  • Government programs such as Medicaid
  • After hours support to hospitals and medical clinics
  • Major conventions and community events.
  • Workers’ compensation.
