Fellowship Program

Fellowship Program

Our Medical Toxicology Fellowship program has been training physicians since 1976.

RMPDS has trained over 70 medical and clinical toxicologists since launching the first Medical Toxicology fellowship program in 1976. We have several programs in which we train medical and clinical toxicologists, from the United States and abroad. We also accept students and clinicians for rotations in Toxicology.

Our clinical guidelines are nationally-recognized and formed the foundation of Poisindex ®, an information system that is now used by all poison centers across the country.  We offer many opportunities to learn about and to manage a great range of poisonings and exposures from a variety of sources:

  • Regional Poison Center serving 4 states (>10 million people) and 100+ industry clients (national/international) managing over 150,000 exposure contacts per year
  • Medical Toxicology Service seeing patients bedside in Denver Health Medical Center, University of Colorado Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Colorado
  • Experiences from 20 Board Certified Medical Toxicologists who teach and volunteer in our training program
